Electric Hose Reels
The R4 electric hose reel with flow control is an electrically driven reel that is highly suitable for applications in horticulture.
The reel can be turned on and off remotely using the spray gun or a ball valve. In addition, the reel can easily be mounted on an existing motorized sprayer. The winding speed of the hose reel is adjustable. The speed changes automatically as the hose is wound back up.
The R4 electric hose reel operates without a radio remote control but offers the same functionality.
Remote controlled
A brief squeeze and release of the spray gun is all it takes to switch the reel motor on and off remotely. To spray, the spray gun can be held in the normal way.
Adjustable speed
The speed is adjustable between 30-60 m/min. The unit adjusts the speed when the hose winds back up on the reel by slowing down the number of revolutions per minute. Upon initial startup, the total hose length and diameter of the hose can easily be entered into the control unit.
Safety
The reel will automatically stop if the hose gets stuck. The retraction speed automatically slows down when the end of the hose is around 3 m from the hose reel, and the reel stops automatically when the hose is completely wound in.
The reel
The frame is made of stainless steel and aluminum. The rotating parts, like the hose reel axle and swivel joint are made of stainless steel.
